Olive V. Welsh, 1913-2003, Sedalia

Olive V. Welsh, 90, of Sedalia, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born Sept. 5, 1913, a daughter of Melvin and Frances Crimager Payne. On Oct. 28, 1935, she was married to Chester Welsh, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Welsh was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors also include a son, Ronald C. Welsh, of Lake Winnebego; a sister, Geri Matlock, of Sedalia; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home in Kansas City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
